Dutch Iris Bulbs

Dutch Iris - Iris x hollandica

Tall, slim iris in blue, purple, yellow and white, each flower marked with a bright blaze on the falls. It is grown commercially as a cut flower for good reason, lasting well in a vase and opening from bud indoors. The narrow foliage takes up very little room in a border.

Plant in groups of 10–20, 8–10cm apart, in a sunny border or cutting patch. The stems are long enough to cut, and a deep pot will take 10–15.

Toxic to cats and dogs if eaten.
