Giant Snowdrop Bulbs

Giant Snowdrop - Galanthus elwesii

A larger snowdrop than the common variety, with broader grey-green leaves and flowers up to twice the size. It tends to open a little earlier too, often in the first half of January. The extra scale makes it a better choice for a spot you actually see from the house.

Plant in clumps of 10–25 in borders or under shrubs, as it copes with slightly sunnier, drier spots than the common snowdrop. Seven to ten in a pot make a good display by the door.

Toxic to cats and dogs if eaten.
