About the artist:

Teresa Gonzalez:  Teresa moved with her family to Taxco, Mexico, when she was very young.  While still in high school, she enrolled in the University of Mexico's School of Plastic Arts to begin to design and make her pieces of jewelry.  Taxco has a tradition of as she had fallen in love with the tradition of designing and crafting original sterling silver jewelry, built upon by many since the Aztecs.  Later on, Teresa studied  Industrial design, which encompassed such fields as Theater, clothing, and interior design.  These interests still influence Teresa's work and creativity, she states, bringing her happiness and helping her to realize her dreams.
