Paperwhite Narcissus Bulbs

Paperwhite Narcissus - Narcissus papyraceus

Clusters of small pure white flowers with a heavy, sweet scent. Unlike other daffodils these need no cold period, so they can be grown indoors in a bowl of bulb fibre or gravel and water. Plant in batches a fortnight apart and you can keep them flowering through the winter months.

Five or six bulbs sit comfortably in a shallow bowl, close together with their tips just showing. Flowers usually follow six to eight weeks after planting.

Toxic to cats and dogs if eaten.
