Tulip Ballerina Bulbs

Tulip 'Ballerina' - Tulipa 'Ballerina'

A lily-flowered tulip in warm orange, with slender pointed petals that open in sunshine and close towards evening. Ballerina is one of the few scented tulips, with a light fragrance often compared to freesia. Its height makes it well suited to the middle of a border, and it lasts well as a cut flower.

Ten to fifteen bulbs fill a 30cm pot, or plant in groups of 15–25, 10cm apart, through a border. The colour holds up in either.

Toxic to cats and dogs if eaten.
