Anemone De Caen Bulbs

Anemone De Caen - Anemone coronaria

Single poppy-shaped flowers in red, blue, pink and white, each with a black centre ringed by a fringe of dark stamens. They flower over a long stretch and cut well, producing more stems the more you take. The corms are hard and shrivelled on arrival, which is normal.

Soak the corms for a few hours, then plant 10–15 in a 30cm pot, or 8–10cm apart in a sunny bed. Planting a batch every few weeks gives a longer run of flowers for cutting.

Toxic to cats and dogs if eaten.
